Delete your Plotifi Account

At Plotifi, you can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

How to request deletion
  • In the app: Go to Settings → Delete Account (if available in your version).

  • By email: Send a message to updates@plotifi.com with the subject line Delete my account from the email address linked to your Plotifi account.

What we delete
  • Account credentials and profile (email, display name)

  • Portfolio and financial data you entered (holdings, scenarios, backtests, saved settings)

What we may retain temporarily
  • Security and anti-abuse logs (minimal, non-content data)

  • Crash reports and analytics stored in Firebase/Google (anonymized/aggregated where possible)

These limited items are retained for up to 30 days after deletion to protect the service and comply with legal obligations. Backups roll off on their normal schedule. Data required by law may be retained longer if necessary.

Verification

We verify requests via the email address associated with your Plotifi account. If you no longer have access to that email, we may request additional verification.

Response time

We aim to complete deletions within 7 days of verification.
